This book was published in 1987 and features a series of paintings and illustrations by Andrew Wyeth surrounding one model, Helga Testorf, a neighbor of the Wyeths in Pennsylvania. For over a decade, Wyeth chronicled this one woman with passionate intensity and artistry. 

This book features more than 100 colorplates and 160 black and whites - from a small closely observed sketch of Helga's eye, through numerous lush studies of Helga asleep, to rich and highly polished drybrushes and tempras.
